The certification in FSSC 22000 has received full recognition by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and is supported by the Confederation of Agro-Alimentary Industry of the European Union (CIAA) and the American Groceries Manufacturing Association (GMA). This certification guarantees that a company has a solid food safety management system, in order to obtain worldwide acceptance and recognition by food manufacturers and retailers.
